Social Dynamics, LLC won the prestrigious Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility!

On January 24, 2011, Social Dynamics coordinated the one-day forum Advancing Workplace Flexibility Policy and Practices  for the Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) and the Women’s Bureau (WB). In support of the Secretary of Labor’s strategic goal to ensure fair and high-quality work-life environments for all workers, workplace flexibility subject matter experts in business, research, and policy gathered to communicate about the effective workplace flexibility strategies, best practices, and resources that impact all employees, including those with disabilities. The knowledge generated from the Forum will be used to inform future initiatives undertaken by the DOL pertaining to the employment, retention, and advancement of all employees with complex employment needs. Expert recommendations generated from the forum will also be used to develop a Roadmap to inform local, state, and federal governments on the next steps needed to advance the implementation of workplace flexibility policies in the American workforce. In addition, a toolkit with pertinent resources and training materials for job seekers, employees, and employers, will be developed for the use of workforce stakeholders.
