Equal Pay Data Collection Research (New!)
Social Dynamics and the Institute for Women’s Policy Research are working on a briefing paper about payroll data collection for the Department of Labor’s Women’s Bureau. This work is connected to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs' consideration of a new pay data collection tool, as well as to the work of the President’s Equal Pay Task Force. With the ultimate goal of reducing gender-based pay discrimination, Social Dynamics is examining which personnel data best facilitate employer self-monitoring efforts, as well as governmental oversight. The first phase of this work will examine workplace flexibility for low-wage workers and small businesses. The second phase will focus on workplace flexibility for women working in the manufacturing, hotel, restaurant, and tourism industries.

Workplace Flexibility Policy Analysis and Forums
Social Dynamics is working with ODEP and the Women's Bureau (WB) to blend the WB's existing evidenced-based strategies, which promote flexibility around job tasks, with specific FY2010 goals of the WB.
